Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) is reminding pedestrians, motorists, cyclists, municipalities and communities to make rail safety a priority during Rail Safety Week in Canada and Mexico and See Tracks? Think TrainÂR Week in the U.S. taking place Sept. 21-27, 2026.

Every year, approximately 2,300 people across North America are seriously injured or killed because of unsafe behaviour around the railway.

CPKC supports Operation Lifesaver's annual campaign that reminds people to stay alert, follow warning signs and signals and make safe choices near railroad tracks and crossings.
