Peter Janzen, Executive Vice President and President of Intact Insurance Canada, has been named among Canada's Top 40 Under 40ÂR for 2026, recognizing his leadership in transforming broker relationships, advancing innovation and developing the next generation of insurance leaders.

Canada's Top 40 Under 40ÂR is an annual leadership award that recognizes exceptional achievement, influence and impact among 40 outstanding Canadians under the age of 40.

Peter Janzen leads the strategy and performance of Intact Insurance across its broker distribution network. His priorities include sustainable growth, operational excellence and creating lasting value for customers and broker partners.

A champion of broker partnerships and innovation, Peter has helped advance Intact's investment in service and technology to better meet the evolving needs of customers and brokers. His leadership is guided by a clear vision: making the insurance experience more intuitive, responsive and valuable for the people it serves.

Peter is recognized for his commitment to developing the next generation of leaders, empowering teams with data-driven decision-making and creating high-performing environments where people and teams can grow, contribute and do their best work.

Peter began his career as a commercial and specialty lines underwriter, building strong technical expertise and a pragmatic approach to risk. He joined RSA Canada in 2012 and advanced through leadership roles in underwriting and broker management. Following Intact's acquisition of RSA in 2021, he played a key role in integrating capabilities and strengthening the commercial lines business  â??sharpening underwriting operations, deepening broker and customer relationships and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Peter is a graduate of Queen's University with a Bachelor of Commerce and holds the Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional and Canadian Risk Management designations from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
