BULLFROG GOLD SELECTS DRILLING CONTRACTOR FOR 2026 DRILL PROGRAM
Bullfrog Gold's maiden drill program focusses on the high-priority Longtail and Shingleback epithermal gold targets and includes approximately 3,000 meters of planned exploration diamond drilling across 7 fully permitted drill pads (4 pads at Shingleback, 3 pads at Longtail). Drilling is expected to commence in Q4 2026.
Longtail Drill Target
The Longtail target is defined by widespread silica-kaolinite alteration (steam heated alteration assemblage) that is partially obscured by shallow cover with coincident pathfinder (arsenic-antimony) surface geochemistry (rock and soil samples) and favourably oriented damage zones (faults) which together make this target geologically analogous to AngloGold's Silicon deposit (Arthur Project, Figure 1)1. Exploration drilling at Longtail will test a resistivity feature which may represent silicification associated with a chargeability feature interpreted to represent subsurface sulphides extending from surface to approximately 400 meters depth (See Figures 1 and 2).
Shingleback Drill Target
The Shingleback Drill Target is defined by steam heated surface alteration (silica-alunite), favourably oriented brittle structures (Twin Shafts Fault) numerous workings, including activity up to 2014 at the Schoch shaft, favourable stream sediment geochemistry as well as an extensive IP-resistivity feature that is coincident with the intersection of the Twin-shafts fault and the Basalt fault (Figures 1 and 3).
