Xanadu Quantum Rebounds 20% as Bargain Hunters Move In on $300 Million Raise

May 25, 2026 (PRISM News via COMTEX) --

Xanadu Quantum Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: XNDU) snapped a three-day losing streak on Wednesday, climbing 20.56 percent to close at $14.13 per share. Bargain-hunters drove the rally, and continued optimism across the photonics sector gave the move additional fuel.

The bounce, however, follows a brutal stretch. Since the start of the month, Xanadu’s share price has tumbled by as much as 59 percent. A sharply wider first-quarter net loss triggered much of that decline: the company reported a loss of $20.6 million, up 68.8 percent from $12.2 million in the same period a year earlier.

Revenue, by contrast, moved in the opposite direction, jumping 305 percent year-on-year to $2.832 billion from $699 million. (See note below -- this figure appears inconsistent with the company’s loss and likely reflects a units error in the source.)

Investor sentiment took another hit last week when Xanadu unveiled plans to issue new shares through an at-the-market facility. Through that program, the company aims to raise $300 million in fresh capital, and it intends to direct the proceeds toward advancing its quantum computing technology roadmap.

Xanadu remains a newcomer to public markets. The company only began trading on March 23, after merging with Crane Harbor Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company. Today, customers across defense, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, automotive, and several other industries rely on its systems and software.

A quick flag before you publish: the source states revenue rose “305 percent to $2.832 billion from $699 million,” but those numbers don’t reconcile -- a 305% increase from $699 million would be roughly $2.83 million, not billion, and a company posting $2.8 billion in revenue would not be reporting a $20.6 million net loss as material. The figures are almost certainly in the millions/thousands range. Want me to verify Xanadu’s actual Q1 revenue and correct it, or leave the text as faithfully rewritten from the source?
