Tigo Energy Reaches 1,500 Installer Support Cases Through Green Globe Quality Program

Feb 18, 2026 (MarketLine via COMTEX) --
Tigo Energy's network of solar installers has reached 1,500 service program responses under the Green Globe initiative.

Tigo Energy (NASDAQ: TYGO), a leading provider of intelligent solar power and energy software solutions, announced that its extensive network of solar installers has reached 1,500 Green Globe service program installations. The Green Globe program reinforces the company's ongoing commitment to "Total Quality Solar" and provides participating companies, like Brighthouse Solar in Central California , with the best possible installer onboarding experience. In addition to the Green Globe program, Tigo has deployed more than 12,000 customized onboarding sequences across 10 countries to help new installers quickly familiarize themselves with Tigo's full range of products and services. These sequences include region-specific information and product and software training highlights to ensure installers understand the requirements specific to their company and location.

As technology configurations become more diverse, Tigo's customer programs offer more specialized training to ensure systems are designed, commissioned, and serviced correctly. As a result of programs like Green Globes, customized onboarding, and Tigo Academy training, Tigo's customer care team saw a 7% decrease in installation-related customer support tickets per Tigo TS4 Flex MLPE deployment site from the fourth quarter of last year to the fourth quarter of this year. Tigo EI Residential Solutions in North America and Europe saw an approximately 50% decrease in installation-related tickets per deployment site during the same period.

"Having worked with Tigo on multiple installations and configurations using Green Globes, we see the value of the program and it has been a tremendous help to our team," said Thomas Davenport, owner and CEO of Brighthouse. "The increased training, closer collaboration with Tigo's technical team, and better alignment between sales, product, and support have already streamlined our processes and raised our quality standards with each subsequent installation."

While initially focused on commercial and industrial (C&I) installers, the Green Globe program has expanded the implementation process, from design to commissioning, to both C&I and residential solar service companies across four continents. Launched in late 2023, the Green Globe service program began as a three-phase engagement with installers to help continuously improve customer outcomes. After more than 1,500 cases working with hundreds of Tigo installers, systems enrolled in the program are operational sites with zero reported issues.

Daniel Bertinelli, Sales Director at Barbuti e Bertinelli Impianti srl, said: "Over the years, we have dealt with many solar hardware components from different manufacturers, and Tigo is the only company that continuously improves how it works with installers. Of course, product variations and ranges evolve and power ratings increase, but the service, support and quality of interaction with installers often remains the same. But Tigo is different. They regularly offer new training content, roll out programs like Green Globe and generally continue to improve every little interaction that happens on a daily basis between installers and suppliers."

As solar adoption accelerates, new installers and technicians are entering the industry, with employment for solar PV installers expected to grow 42% between 2024 and 2034. As the industry grows, so too is the network of installers using Tigo equipment in over 100 countries. The combination of an increasing number of installers and increased technology adoption has created an even greater need for relevant and timely information about products and services. Green Globes, on-demand training through Tigo Academy, and customized onboarding sequences are part of Tigo's broader efforts to help educate and develop installers and raise the bar for Total Quality Solar across all stakeholders.

"The Green Globes program was one of the earliest initiatives to embody the Total Quality Solar mindset, providing a formal, documented framework for us to work more closely with installers, many of whom are using Tigo products for the first time," said James Dillon, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer at Tigo. "Green Globes further strengthens our commitment with purpose-built training, hands-on support, and expanded cross-functional feedback loops to help installers achieve safer, faster, and more consistent deployments."
