In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Boeing Co. (BA) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 3.5%. Year to date, Boeing Co. has lost about 32.8% of its value.

And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), trading down 1.6%. Johnson & Johnson is lower by about 6.1% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are Home Depot (HD), trading down 1.5%, and Visa (V), trading up 2.1% on the day.
