In early trading on Thursday, shares of Airbnb topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 1.9%. Year to date, Airbnb registers a 18.6% gain.

And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Tesla, trading down 3.8%. Tesla is lower by about 39.8% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are NXP Semiconductors, trading down 3.3%, and Meta Platforms, trading up 1.8% on the day.
