United States Antimony Completes Nolan Creek Technical Report as Underground Mining Begins in Alaska
United States Antimony Corporation (NYSE: UAMY), a producer and processor of antimony, zeolite and other critical minerals, announced on October 26, 2026 the completion of a new technical report on its Nolan Creek gold-antimony property in northern Alaska. The report puts the in-place value of the deposit’s measured and indicated resources at approximately $314 million, with inferred resources valued at more than $125 million.
What the Technical Report Shows
Thomas K. Bundtzen, President of Pacific Rim Geological Consulting, authored the report as a Qualified Person under the SEC’s S-K 1300 rules for mining disclosure. The company planned to file it with the SEC on a Form 8-K the same day.
Of the measured and indicated value, $233.9 million comes from contained antimony and $79.9 million from contained gold. These figures assume prices of $4,000 per ounce for gold and $8.30 per pound for antimony. However, they reflect value in the ground before mining, transport and processing costs, and before metal recovery, so they do not represent expected revenue.
According to the company, the existing exploration tunnel intersects the highest-confidence material at the site. As a result, the second phase of operations will continue to target these measured and indicated resources.
Mining Under Way at Nolan Creek
US Antimony acquired the Nolan Creek claims at a public auction on January 30, 2026, and later added surrounding Alaska state claims. The property sits about 175 miles north of Fairbanks. A previous owner dug roughly 570 feet of exploration tunnels there in 2006, which intercepted three parallel veins of high-grade antimony with gold as a secondary metal.
After a bidding process with two mining contractors, the company selected one, and mining began this month with an exploration bulk sample of approximately 1,000 tons. The contractor aimed to have crews working two shifts daily by the end of October. In addition, US Antimony brought on an underground mining geologist to map the deposit and help limit dilution of the high-grade material.
“Having only acquired this property earlier this year, and operating in a weather environment that is difficult at best, we will be moving approximately 1,000 tons of lode ore (antimony and gold) from the underground mine for processing,” said Gary C. Evans, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of US Antimony.
Processing Plans in Montana
A local Alaskan transportation company will deliver the bulk sample to the company’s flotation mill in Radersburg, Montana. There, US Antimony intends to test whether the ore can economically produce antimony trisulfide that meets military specifications. Antimony trisulfide serves as a primer in ammunition, while antimony oxide goes into flame retardants for plastics, textiles and coatings.
According to Evans, the company is preparing the material for sales in November and December, and the shipment will be its first antimony from Alaska processed in Montana. Looking further ahead, US Antimony plans to show in the first half of 2027 that Nolan Creek can fully supply the Radersburg mill’s nameplate capacity using long hole open stope mining.
US Antimony describes itself as the only fully integrated antimony company in the free world outside of China and Russia. Beyond Alaska, the company holds claims and properties in Montana and Ontario, Canada, along with a zeolite operation in Idaho.
